Q:    When should you file a workers’ compensation claim?
A:     A report of injury should be submitted if the injury has caused a need for medical treatment beyond         basic first aid. Q:    Can I seek benefits from my insurance when a driver who is at fault in a MVA is uninsured or         does not have enough insurance?
A:     Yes. Your insurance policy under uninsured motorist/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) has the stated         coverage and will activate to compensate you when the errant driver does not have adequate         insurance. It is very important to look at your coverage for UM/UIM and increase your policy.
