Stuart Adams, Esq, Partner
Stuart Adams, partner of Adams Ferrone & Ferrone, has worked in the legal field for over 25 years and has been practicing law for over 17 years. Stuart specializes in the negotiation of labor contracts and also handles contract maintenance representation through the grievance process and provides legal advice to the Boards of Directors of the Safety organizations he represents, including organizations as large as the California Correctional Peace Officers’ Association.
Stuart is also a legal expert in defending clients facing internal affairs investigations by employers. He has handled hundreds of disciplinary appeal hearings including arbitrations and appeals before the State Personnel Board. Stuart has represented more than one hundred Public Safety organizations throughout California and has significant litigation experience with Mandatory Injunctions under the Public Safety Officers’ Procedural Bill of Rights, Writs of Mandate and Appellate cases
Prior to forming the firm with John Ferrone, Paul Ferrone and Mark Peacock in 2001, Stuart spent 11 years representing Public Saftey Associations. He practice law at Silver, Hadden & Silver, from 1990 to 1997, then formed his own firm Goyette & Adams, with Paul Goyette, esq.
Stuart is a lecturer for the Peace Officers’ Research Association of California Internal Affairs seminars. He is the former Treasurer of the Sacramento County Bar Labor & Employment law section.
Stuart received his law degree from the University of San Diego and passed the California Bar in 1989. Stuart graduated from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in 1985.
